Introduction
Welcome to the Reproductive Advocacy and Diversity in Advanced Nursing Training (RADIANT) Fellowship. The RADIANT Fellowship aims to create a sustainable model for advancing abortion care statewide by providing targeted education to interested Illinois-licensed healthcare providers and supporting the rollout of reproductive services to close gaps in access.
This book, curated by subject matter experts, compiles resources and materials intended to supplement the UCSF Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health’s Training in Early Abortion for Comprehensive Healthcare (TEACH) curriculum.
Our experts have also created an appendix that incorporates Illinois-specific laws, policies, and regulations. This will facilitate the immediate implementation of abortion service delivery in your local area.
The RADIANT Fellowship is supported through a partnership with the Illinois Department of Public Health’s Abortion Provider Capacity Building Grant Program. The content within is solely the responsibility of the authors and does not necessarily reflect or represent the official views of the Illinois Department of Public Health.
Thanks to our colleagues at the MARCH Program at the University of Maryland-Baltimore for their assistance with developing curriculum.
While the RADIANT Fellowship is committed to using and promoting gender-inclusive language, please note that some externally linked resources within this book may not adhere to these standards.
